Wondering what’s gonna be next for Mane after Michael does his thing this August? He’s heading down to indie town, to explore a little known place called Penance Lane.
Mane writes on the official Penance Lane MySpace Page:
“Just thought I’d keep you up to date on what I’m up to these days since I don’t twitter! I’m typing this from my suite in Osoyoos, BC. That’s in Canada for those of you who don’t have a clue. Hell, I’m Canadian and I didn’t have a fuckin’ clue where it was. I’m about two miles from the US border and it’s like the high desert! But it’s Canada’s premiere wine country and the shit’s good!!!
Anyway, I’m filming my next project “Gunless.” It’s a major change of pace for me which is why I really wanted to do the project. The IMDB summary is: “A hardened American gunslinger is repeatedly thwarted in his attempts to mount a showdown in a friendly town in Canada where no one seems to understand or appreciate the brutal code of the American Wild West.” Yeah…it’s a Western… comedy!!! I play Jack Smith the local Blacksmith, the one the gunslinger is trying to have the show down with.
Next up, I’ve been setting up my production company Mane Entertainment and our first project PENANCE LANE is moving along at an incredible pace. In my top friends there is a page PENANCE LANE where you can look for up dates in the near future. We have a director attached that will blow your minds! Not telling yet!”
