Eliza DushkuDuring a break from the surprisingly renewed “Dollhouse”, Watertown, Mass. native Eliza Dushku has returned to her roots to appear in indie thriller Valediction. Home base for the crew is reportedly South Boston’s Seaport District.

According to Loaded Gun Boston, Valediction, whose title means “farewell” in Latin, has the following premise: When a car accident leaves a father fighting for his daughter’s life, his journey for the pieces of the puzzle that will save her lead him to discover it’s actually his life that he is fighting for. In the film Dushku plays the daughter in the flashback scenes.

Loaded Gun lists Dushku’s co-stars as the new Dorian Gray, Ben Barnes, and fabulous Irish actress Brenda Fricker, but no other details are available.

Keep it here while we dig a little further, and in the meantime, follow Eliza on Twitter, where she’s been posting updates on the shoot.
