Outlander Scribes Get ZMD Gig

The writers of both Outlander and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which both managed to come out on the exact same day, have been announced as nabbing scripting duties for ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction, the Red 5 comic created by Underworld trilogy star Kevin Grevioux.
THR reports that Howard McCain and Dirk Blackman will be putting pen to paper for the script, which is about a covert team of elite soldiers who are sent into the Middle East to try and stop what they soon realize is a government-controlled army of zombies.
Sounds like it could be fun; the comic’s been well received during its short run so hopefully the film will be as well. No word on a director for the project yet but we’ll keep an ear to the ground and drop you more when it drops on us.
