Remember Beastly, starring Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer? Yeah, it had fallen off our radar as well ... until this weekend, when a new trailer debuted. At least we get to see a bit more of Neil Patrick Harris this time.
A new one-sheet for CBS Films' Beastly, which swaps out the beast from the Beauty and the Beast story with a tattooed and pierced guy from New York's East Village, has arrived online today sporting a tagline that is simply wince-inducing. Dig it if you must.
Just a few weeks removed from its announcement of shifting the release of Beastly so as not to clash with Universal's upcoming Charlie St. Cloud, which stars Zac Efron, CBS Films has finally announced Beastly's new release date, and wow, is it pretty damned far off.

Not to be outdone by The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which unveiled its logo artwork earlier this week, CBS Films, the company behind Beastly, revealed the slick title treatment for its upcoming edgy teen romance ... and provided a new photo of the film's "beast", played by Alex Pettyfer.
Ah, Mary-Kate. It doesn't seem so long ago that you were drooling on ABC. Now that you've grown you're making others do the drooling. Amazing how life works, eh? Now it's time for this young starlet to get a little "Beastly"!
