In news that is sure to make the Foywonder either jump for joy or shudder in fear in turns out that Sony Pictures is tinkering with the idea of putting giving the green light to the sequel to their oodly entertaining yet completely bewildering flick Legion.

One of the best mixes of home video releases we've seen so far this year hits store shelves on May 11th. What with a vampire movie geared toward adults that has actual adults starring in it, an end-of-the-world saga that pits the Archangel Michael against his winged brethren, and a couple of nature-run-amok entries, we have a little something for everyone.

Did you miss us? We have returned after a lengthy hiatus brought on by scheduling conflicts and a technical meltdown that erased the last Dinner For Fiends, and what a loaded program we have for you! Finally, the first DFF of 2010, and being that we're nearly three months into the new year, that means there is a lot of ground to cover and still find time for the usual off-topic nonsense.

The unintentionally laugh-out-loud funny and mind-blowing cinematic apocalypse epic known as Legion is getting set to make its home video debut courtesy of Sony on May 11th, and we've got the lowdown on what to expect once this puppy spreads its wings!

I really wish I lived in Chicago as a result of this story. The WildClaw Theatre went and adapted William Peter Blatty's novel Legion into what looks like a really cool exercise in theatrical horror. And we've got a trailer for you to check out!

We know what you guys are wondering. "Where the hell is Dinner For Fiends?" Well, we got together and did one, and as per usual there was over an hour's worth of chaos for you guys to dig on. Or so we thought. Let me start from the beginning.

The whole time I watched Legion, pretty much the only thing I could think about was how great Trembles' MPP of the flick was going to be. The film is rife with some awesomely cheesy lines that are just begging for the Trembles treatment, and this week he delivers the goods.

If you were one of the many people who saw Scott Stewart's Legion over the weekend (and there must have been a lot of you since the film came in second in the box office rankings with an estimated $18.2 million), then you'll no doubt be interested in the following message we received from The Foywonder:

The movie of choice for horror fans this weekend who are lookin' for a some multiplex-based action will no doubt be Screen Gems' Legion. After all, who doesn't want a little apocalypse sprinkled lovingly into their popcorn buckets?
