Joely Richardson and Arnold Schwarzenegger Get Hitched to Raise Zombie Daughter Maggie

The Wrap is reporting that Joely Richardson (pictured; Event Horizon) will play Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife in Maggie, a zombie thriller beginning production in New Orleans. She’ll join Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin, who plays the titular teenage girl and Schwarzenegger’s daughter. Amy Brassette, Aiden Flowers, and Rachel Whitman Groves also star.

Schwarzenegger and Richardson spend the movie trying to help their daughter, a 16-year-old girl who has been infected by a zombie virus. John Scott 3′s script made the 2011 Black List of the film industry’s favorite unproduced screenplays.

The film will be directed by commercials director Henry Hobson. Schwarzenegger is producing alongside Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Matt Baer, Trevor Kaufman, Colin Bates, and Joey Tufaro. The movie will be executive produced by Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, Ara Keshishian, Hubert Gibbs, Claudia Bluemhuber, and Scott 3.
