Remember a while back when we mentioned that the long awaited sequel to Wolf Creek had found its funding and was ready to go? Sadly, things change, and now? Well, now not so much. In fact, instead of fake blood, the filmmakers have one big mess on their hands.

Fans of the Aussie thriller Wolf Creek have a good reason to get excited today. The flick has found funding, and that means it will be slashing its way to American shores soon! According to Variety Wolf Creek 2 was one of more than a dozen projects announced by Screen Australia topper Ruth Harley at the Melbourne Intl. Film Festival during the weekend.

Those spooky boys over at Fangoria got the first look at the DVD art for Greg McLean’s Rogue, his follow-up to Wolf Creek that, despite positive word of mouth, has been doomed to coming in way under the radar, as well as the features that will be on the disc when Dimension Extreme releases it on August 5th.

I may be in the minority here, but I found Michael Katleman's Primeval (review) to be a good time at the B-Movies. It wasn't perfect, but it had amazing visual effects for the crocodile and some moments of unintentional hilarity. Getting to watch it with the director added to the good times as well.

Oooooh, yes, this I like a lot. It’s simple, it’s effective, and it doesn’t try and tell you the movie is about anything other than a giant crocodile terrorizing people. It’s also got just enough of a Jaws feel to it to give it insta-cred. But man, whoever came up with that tagline should loose their job. Ugh.
