Remember a while back when we mentioned that the long awaited sequel to Wolf Creek had found its funding and was ready to go? Sadly, things change, and now? Well, now not so much. In fact, instead of fake blood, the filmmakers have one big mess on their hands.
Fans of the Aussie thriller Wolf Creek have a good reason to get excited today. The flick has found funding, and that means it will be slashing its way to American shores soon!
According to Variety Wolf Creek 2 was one of more than a dozen projects announced by Screen Australia topper Ruth Harley at the Melbourne Intl. Film Festival during the weekend.
Science can be a wonderful thing that through the years has blessed us with many a wondrous thing. Hell, I still don't even understand how the Kinect works! Still, it's not always good. Nuclear weapons. Man-made viruses. Creatures who live in underground lairs waiting for hapless humans to wander in to become lunch.
There's no doubt about it. The success of Paranormal Activity has completely leveled the filmmaking landscape for young directors in need of a break. Like the movie or not, you have to respect it for that.
Finally something a bit meaty to chew on regarding Greg McLean's return to the horrors of the Outback, Wolf Creek 2! Sit back, and peel your eyes as we throw some new artwork on the old barbie!
Even though October pretty much kicked our butts in terms of getting you guys all the news that was fit to fear, we're still at it now with AFM rearing its head. No rest for the wicked, but hey, we wouldn't have it any other way!

I may be in the minority here, but I found Michael Katleman's Primeval (review) to be a good time at the B-Movies. It wasn't perfect, but it had amazing visual effects for the crocodile and some moments of unintentional hilarity.
