Oh....Damn Stroller Granny. Look out for this one. She's about 2'4" with Eistein hair and a crazy laugh. She's honest-to-bob the fastest ghost in the game and two hits kill you immediatly! I swear save before you fight this one cause it will take a couple of tries...Honestly a STROLLER GRANNY!!!!! *mutters about the insanity of game designers*

OK, so I just beat Hour III: The Subdued Song in FF3. Now spooky shit is starting to happen in my characters house while she's awake. Now THAT'S what I am talking about!

Seeing those legs standing behind the curtain of my storage area downstairs gave me the chills.

Has the stain on the wall started yet?it's right outside the developing room.
Just wait till the ghost in the kitchen shows.
Or the Stroller Granny.
Or the shower scenes.

DID I JUST SAY SHOWER SCENES?!?!
fuck yes I did.

FF3 has almost explicit shower scenes that go to hell in a hand basket quickly.

You'll be pleasantly scared UC.I agree! that's a promise. Twisted Evil
okay, I am walking out the door right now to rent this.

Wonderful idea, that is.Be careful though.I had to get GameFly specifically to rent this game.My local Blockbuster didn't carry it and had no plans too.
What was their reasoning if they gave any? I go to Hollywood video so hopefully they have it. Blockbuster pissed me off so I switched.

I started playing Fatal Frame 1 on PS2 this week.
I am over 7 hours in and it is the 3rd night (in the game world).
The game is good and creepy, but not Silent Hill-shit-in-my-pants-and-cry scary.
The mansion is cool, the music is great.
But the combat? Woe is me.
Defeating ghosts with a magic camera that depletes hit points with every picture taken? I don't get it.
It gets to be that when a ghost confronts me, I don't get scared. I get annoyed as hell. Combat with the camera is lame, and I hope this isn't in the 2nd or 3rd game, because I really want to like this series.
There just isn't enough health powerups. I always have between 1 and 3 health powerups. Almost every ghost fight results in me losing half my health. And I just figured out what the damn 'stone mirror' does.
And why to I need 18,000 spirit points to buy one bonus for the camera. The spirit points that you get after each ghost battle add up very slowly over time. And each camera extra costs between 12,000 and 20,000 spirit points. Heck, I will probably only have half the camera extras unlocked by the end of the game.
I don't even have the basic camera functions maxed out yet, and I'm 7 hours in the game. WTF?
But......despite these gripes, the game is worth playing through. Though once I'm done with Fatal Frame, I will sell it to GameStop before I start Part 2. It's good, but not Branson good.

Fatal Frame 2 is actually my favorite, and quite a bit scarier than FF3.

Part two is easily the best of the series. Gotta love the EVP!

I gave up on Fatal Frame 1 and never finished it.
It just didn't hold my interest.
I still own FF2 and will give it a shot sometime.
