Dead Space Extraction - The Team Speaks!
Last week we had the opportunity to sit in on a conference call with part of the team behind EA Games' Dead Space: Extraction--namely, Steve Papoutsis (Executive Producer), Wright Bagwell (Creative Director), John Calhoun (Senior Designer), Jonathan Hackett (Art Lead/Direction), and Shereif Fattouh (Associate Producer). Of course we aimed to get you the goods on the game so read on for dozens of reasons why you should be using your Wiimote for something else other than Tennis!

A Dead Space: Extraction Event
Sure, Dead Space wasn’t much more than a Resident Evil 4 rip off set in space. But you gotta give credit where credit is due, and frankly, the game was a TON of fun. Furthermore, it made me jump like a little girl on more than one occasion (much to my fiancée’s delight) so while this new game Dead Space: Extraction looks like an action-oriented prequel – I’m sure it’ll put some hair on your Wii’s balls!

Dante's Inferno: Behind the Scenes of Limbo, Greed, and Gluttony

New DLC Due for Left 4 Dead
Valve Software announced yesterday that a new DLC pack for the original Left 4 Dead is due in September. ‘Crash Course’ is a new chapter to the game, set between the original ‘No Mercy’ and ‘Death Toll’ campaigns.

Universal Taps Dan Harris for Dante's Inferno
It was late last year when we first learned that Universal had nabbed the rights to the upcoming Electronics Arts video game version of Dante's Inferno. And now word has come down via Variety that the person who will be writing the live-action film is Dan Harris (X2, Superman Returns).
