Though it is still seeking distro here in the States, the promotional trailer for Hugues and Sandra Martin’s new film about ancient creatures run amok, Stranded (known in France as Djinns), has made its way online. Ready for your first look at all of the desert based shenanigans?
Count us in for any movie home to invisible creatures attacking soldiers in the desert! Yes, it is a bit familiar, but screw it! We’re in anyway! Check out the trailer below beyond the plot crunch!
Synopsis
Algeria, 1960. A section of French paratroopers are sent in search of a missing aircraft in the Algerian desert. The wreckage of the plane is quickly located, but there are no survivors, just a suitcase stamped “Top Secret”. Stormed by enemy soldiers, the troops find refuge in a strange abandoned citadel. Despite warnings from the place’s Guardian to leave at once, they wake up the Djinns, the evil spirits of the desert…
