Dark Shadows Film in 2010?
You know, you can find the craziest things in Japan. A plethora of Godzilla figues, video games based around spanking, great sushi, and even scans of Japanese Warner Bros. press schedules which apparently have the next Burton/Depp collaboration on Dark Shadows listed for a winter of 2010 release.

Johnny Depp Closing in on Dark Shadows Adaptation
Vampires have never been more popular than they are right now due to the phenomenon known as Twilight and shows like HBO's "True Blood", but the granddaddy of all soapy vamp themed stuff has always been Dan Curtis' "Dark Shadows". A feature film re-imagining of this famed series may be even closer than we thought.

Johnny Depp is one busy guy these days! Along with playing the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's upcoming Alice in Wonderland and committing to yet another Pirates film, according to Variety, his production company Infinitum Nihil has acquired screen rights to the Nick Tosches novel In the Hand of Dante.
