A creepy, darkly comic celebration of the scariest night of the year with five tales set on Halloween night: suburban couple learns the lessons of blowing out a jack-o-lantern before midnight; a high school principal moonlights as a serial killer; the quest of a young virgin for that special someone takes a gruesome turn; a group of teens carries out a cruel prank; and a cantankerous old man battles a mischievous trick-or-treating demon.

Good luck!

Hey guys-I would REALLY like to own a copy of this!! I’m going to stand by my mailbox.I’m NOT moving until it gets here, or my friends stop dropping off cigarettes and beer. Priorities man!!

To quote stupid-kid Darth Vader “YIPPEE!!!”

I’ve been waiting for this movie for a while (mostly due to DC’s awesome coverage) and would love to win a copy.

Now what do we have to do to get this gem in theaters?

    • Sandstonesoft

Sadly that ship has already sailed i’m sure. First time we’ll see this in theaters is in ten years, after it becomes such a Halloween classic that folks start giving it special screenings.

We can hope for a miracle, like what happened with the original HALLOWEEN. That movie got panned by critics in it’s original run which only lasted a few short weeks. Then a little gem of a paper, called the Village Voice, ran a rave review and that’s when the movie finally took off.

Anyone got the Village Voice editor’s email address?

I don’t think it would’ve gotten a second life if it had already been released on dvd before hand, though. Different times, my friend. However, if somehow it does end up in theaters, i’ll be right there with you in line to go see it, no doubt.
