A new six-issue prequel comic series related to the "Supernatural" TV show is launching in October written by Brian Wood with artwork by Grant Bond and cover art by Dustin Nguyen. In partnership with IDW Publishing, Anne's historical horror novel is about to become a six-issue comic adaptation.

While lately it seems that just about every other film in pre-production is based on a graphic novel, now comes word of a partnership between Hammer Films and Dark Horse Comics that will give us the reverse: a series of original graphic novels and comic books, the first of which is based on an upcoming Hammer film.

The four-issue comic book miniseries known as Hotwire: Requiem for the Dead is being released on April 28th as a trade paperback by Radical Publishing, and we've got a look at the cover art and the full synopsis for you.
