Clash of the Titans 2
Just a few years ago Sam Worthington was an up-and-coming actor whom most people wouldn't have recognized if he bumped into them on the street. But a few blockbusters (Terminator: Salvation, Clash of the Titans) and a starring role in the biggest movie of all time (Avatar) later, and suddenly Worthington is a household name.
We're all hoping and praying the team of Sam Worthington and director Jonathan Liebesman can correct the wrongs of the rather flaccid Clash of the Titans remake with its sequel, Wrath of the Titans. While there isn't much to go on yet except for their word, one Spanish website nailed down some set imagery.
Several name actors that we already knew were in negotiations to join Jonathan Liebesman's Wrath of the Titans have now been confirmed, and we have to say that the sequel is shaping up nicely!
Looks like we'll be getting the sequel to the abysmal Clash of the Titans remake a little later than expected. Who cares as long as they get it right this time.
Know what's refreshing? When you get a good vibe off of someone who's working hard to make the best movie they possibly can, because they honestly know what they're doing and understand where things have gone wrong in the past. I speak of Wrath of the Titans director Jonathan Liebesman.
Everyone, including star Sam Worthington, is well aware of what a major missed opportunity the recent Clash of the Titans turned out to be, and it looks like the powers-that-be are doing everything they can to make sure its sequel, Wrath of the Titans, doesn't follow suit, including lining up some major star power for it. Read on for who is currently in talks for the project.
Seems that Mark Wahlberg isn't the only one who's not afraid to admit he was involved in a stinker. Yep, the Clash of the Titans remake kind of sucked, and star Sam Worthington knows it.
Disappointed by last year's tepid Clash of the Titans? Yeah, we were too. How that formula got botched so badly is anyone's guess, but Hollywood is looking to make up for it with the sequel, Wrath of the Titans.
Director Jonathan Liebesman (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Darkness Falls, Battle: Los Angeles) has signed on for the Herculean task of making a good follow-up to the big budget blunder known as the Clash of the Titans remake.
Yep. The Clash of the Titans remake. For the life of me I still can't put my finger on how a film with so much going on could play so hopelessly lifeless. Despite lackluster reviews and fan reaction, Warner Brothers is officially out to try and make things right.
