There's trouble on "Mockingbird Lane". Okay, well not really but sometimes we just revel in sounding all dramatic and stuff. In any event, yeah, we have a quick update regarding NBC's reboot of "The Munsters".

You know, combined with the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark article I wrote a short while ago, for whatever reason this latest nugget of news makes me borderline homicidal. I'm not even sure why. Read on for details.

Well now. This sucks. After a truly stellar trailer that's had us excited since it debuted, Warner Brothers has announced that the new film from Legendary Pictures and director Bryan Singer, Jack the Giant Killer, has been bumped from its June 15th release date to March 22, 2013.

You know how sometimes you hear about a project and then have zero interest until you come across it again later? Yeah, that's the case with us and Bryan Singer's upcoming movie, Jack the Giant Killer, which, judging from the trailer alone, is not your grandfather's Jack and the Beanstalk tale.

The first details of "H+: The Digital Series" were revealed during their panel at Comic-Con this past Thursday along with a trailer. Check it all out below.

For those of you that haven't heard, the world is going to end on December 21, 2012. We know this because the Mayan calendar ends on that date, and who are we to dispute the timetable skills of a long extinct culture. For those of you who are unsure of what to expect three years from now, Roland Emmerich has a movie opening this November depicting the apocalypse to come. Or you can wait another year for the Syfy Channel version Bryan Singer has in the works.

The Endeavor project known as Prisoners just got a whole lot more interesting with the news that Christian Bale is a strong possibility to play the second lead in the film opposite Mark Wahlberg. A report came out of The Hollywood Reporter that while "the project isn't financed and the Wahlberg-Bale combo is fragile ... Bale is actually perfect for this -- it's a brooding, dark script."
