Finally the granddaddy of them all, the original 1933 masterpiece King Kong, is hitting Blu-ray high definition next week, September 28th, and we've got a look at not only the cover art but three clips from the disc's bonus features! Start beating those drums!

With the DVD and Blu-ray release of Frozen right around the corner, we thought that now would be a very good time to give you guys a chance to score a copy of the Blu-ray on us! We're good like that!

We have an interesting bunch of DVD titles this week as well as a special book appearance. On the DVD list we have foreign monsters (from UK & Japan) competing with each other as well as against remakes of big screen features. There is also a special on Norwegian black metal that some may find more interesting.

December 4th is a big day for Twilight Saga fans as that's when the Eclipse DVD and Blu-ray packages hit store shelves. Not only will you be able to own the movie nationwide that day, but you can also get every available special feature in one place when you buy the 2-Disc Special Edition DVD or the Blu-ray/DVD Combo.

Mark December 7th down on your calendars, kids! After a very quiet post-Labor Day weekend for new movies, where Resident Evil: Afterlife (review) was the only major film released widely (and owned the box office), this week's new horror DVD titles aren't aplenty either.

On Friday, September 17th, at Dark Delicacies Bookstore, meet Frozen stars Shawn Ashmore and Kevin Zegers, writer/director Adam Green, along with some other cast and crew from that film as well as Green's popular slasher flick Hatchet.

We've known for a while now that E1 will be releasing Suck, a rock & roll vampire spoof, on Blu-ray and DVD this September 28th, and now the picture is a bit clearer as to what types of extras will be included. From the Press Release:

As far as we are concerned, Image Entertainment's release of "The Twilight Zone" Season 1 (Blu-ray review here) could very well be the release of the year. In fact, we like it so much we've decided to give away one copy to a lucky fan out there!

Ever since we got word that Tom Six's The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (review here) is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on October 5th from IFC Films and MPI Media Group, we've been anxiously awaiting the full list of extra features that will be included. Today that wait is officially over. The DVD and Blu-ray will both be available as bonus-filled, unrated versions that include: * Deleted scenes * Behind-the-scenes footage * An interview with Tom Six * Casting

As if you needed any other encouragement to pick up a copy of "The Twilight Zone" Season One on Blu-ray on Tuesday, September 14th, we've got three clips from the upcoming box set from Image Entertainment.
