AVP
Recently we had a chance to run a few questions by the development team behind the recent release of the new Aliens vs. Predator game, and though the guys over at Rebellion remained kind of tight-lipped regarding what was ahead, they did offer a little bit of insight as to what's going on now that the game is out and what we can expect in the coming weeks and months.
The wait is nearly over. Come next week the war between species is officially on as Sega's Aliens vs. Predator claws its way to store shelves. To further lock and load for this momentous occasion, we've got two new gameplay trailers for you -- a look at things from the Alien's point of view and of course a sample of the multiplayer goodness that lies ahead.
Another new trailer for Sega's Aliens vs. Predator ... this time giving you some perspective on the Marines' side of the battle. I don't know about you guys, but every time I hear the proximity scanner beep, I get a little wood.
Every day that passes seems like an eternity while we all wait patiently for the release of Sega's Aliens vs. Predator. Luckily, there's been a constant barrage of material coming out to keep us entertained, the latest of which is a trailer for the game's "Infestation Mode".
Few times do we find ourselves so excited that we're rendered near speechless. This is one of those moments. Ever since online gaming became all the rage, we've dreamed about heading out into an Alien-infested ship for an online bug hunt. Dreams are about to come true. Have a look for yourself. I think I just peed a little.
It seems as if video game collector's editions have zeroed in on gamers' sweet spots -- their heads! Halo 3 had its Spartan Helmet, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 had its night vision goggles, and now Sega's Aliens vs. Predator game has something else to um ... wear!
Another new badass trailer for the upcoming Aliens vs. Predator video game was published today by Sega of Europe, and of course we've got it for you in all its messy glory! Click on through to see "Heritage".

Remember when the trailers for AVP:R came out around Christmas time a couple of years ago and we all got the fuzzy feeling inside? Little did we know that feeling would turn out to be indigestion caused by severe eye strain. A new story-based trailer has emerged for Sega's upcoming Aliens vs. Predator video game, and that feeling is back and looking more than justified. Get ready for a truly "Holy Shit!" moment!
Okay, so Paul Anderson’s AVP was such filth that not even Lance Henriksen’s turn as Charles Bishop Weyland could salvage it from the depths of shit that it sunk to. A good idea with terrible execution. That’s not stopping UK game designers Rebellion from casting the actor in their upcoming Aliens vs. Predator game, however. Read on for more!
Looking to choose a side and dispose of either Aliens, Predators, or even humans? In early 2010, when Sega drops its official AVP game on us, that's EXACTLY what we're gonna do, and we've even got a little preview to get you excited!
This just in from our man Andrew Kasch at the
San Diego Comic-Con, who got the scoop on something many of us have been looking forward to for a while now.
After the depression known as both AVP flicks, Dark Horse Comics is bringing hope back to us nerds everywhere by relaunching the comic book franchise that we've been gushing over for the past 10 years!
With
San Diego Comic Con only a week away (July 23-27th), we are getting pelted with information on the show from all sides. It’s now become impossible to buy even half of the exclusives on sale there, as you’d have to be rich AND some are so limited, you’d need a small army just to stand in line for you.
Why is it that the majority of Alien/Predator fan films have been more satisfying than those godawful AVP abortions from Fox? To further illustrate this point, a teaser has just popped up on YouTube for a short fan film currently in production, appropriately titled AVP: Redemption. The clip is composed mostly of FX test shots on green screens, but looks better than both AVP movies combined...
Love it (a few of you) or hate it (most of you), the newest AVP flick gives us an excuse to tap into the minds behind our two favorite monsters. To celebrate the DVD release of
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (review), the good people at Fox invited us down to Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc.
