The Horrible Imaginings Podcast is ending our hiatus to bring all you creatives some important news about an opportunity for funding and visibility for your next horror project! The platform Seed&Spark has teamed up with 3311 Productions and The Orchard to seek out and help make new projects a reality. Check out the video for the new crowdfunding rally they are calling “Communal Nightmares:”
In this episode, I am joined by Christina Raia, Seed&Spark’s Director of Crowdfunding & Outreach, to learn more about this project, the philosophy behind it, as well as some tips that hopefully will be helpful to any filmmakers aspiring to be successful in this endeavor. Christina is a filmmaker herself, and has had two of her short films selected at Horrible Imaginings Film Festival, and she is extremely smart when it comes to her craft, her art, and the ways she has gained an audience for herself. We are so happy to have her!
So what are you waiting for? Give the episode a listen, and spread the word to anyone you think might be interested! May 1st is the deadline! Here is the website to submit your project: “Communal Nightmares”

- Nick Greeley Nice clickbait. It’s OLD news that H20 started as a passion project for her, but everything fell apart when Carpenter and Hill didn’t come back, and Moustapha Akkad refused to let the writers kill...
- Mackey Would be awesome if Amazon or Netflix could save "The Exorcist" too
- One-Eye I remember it as being one of the better post SCREAM slasher movies. I certainly haven't watched it since then.
- One-Eye I kind of dig how Osment is just like "Yeah, I'm fat and have a big, bushy beard. And that's how I'm gonna stay now..."
