Tripper Added to After Dark

Wow, the After Dark HorrorFest just keeps getting bigger and bigger. First it was revealed that Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror would be added as a ninth film, available to those who make it through all eight, and now David Arquette’s The Tripper has jumped onboard as well!
Bloody Disgusting got word that the film will be playing as a “sneak peek” in 30-50 theaters throughout the LA area during the weekend of HorrorFest (November 17th-19th in case it wasn’t beaten into your head already). Though no specific locations were mentioned, we have learned that they will be announced a few days before the 17th.
But even better than that is the news that, sometime in the first half of 2007, The Tripper will be getting a 500-theater release via After Dark Films and Freestyle Releasing! Good for Arquette, who’s obviously taking the indie route with the film the same way all the other indie directors have to do it!
