New Director for Dylan Dog
Here’s a bit of odd news: Last year we heard that the live-action adaptation of the Dylan Dog comics was going to be directed by Snakes on a Plane helmer David R. Ellis (““>Dylan Dog is Superman?!” – October 2007), but all that looks to have changed.
Superman‘s Brandon Routh will still be retaining his role as Dylan, but TMNT writer/director Kevin Munroe will be taking the reins of this picture instead of Ellis. This all came down today from Bloody Disgusting and looks to be final. The picture starts shooting in Canada this July.
Mr. Munroe doesn’t have many credits under his belt, but the CGI TMNT flick was pretty fun. Will he be able to work the same magic with this new kind of material? Let’s hope.
