Regal Theatres Grow Some Nuts
According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the largest theatre chains out there have finally realized that film audiences aren’t just made up of little kids in Shrek t-shirts!
The Regal Entertainment Group has decided to permit restricted, “red band” trailers in its multiplexes, and I for one couldn’t be happier. It represents a loosening of the belt of sorts for the public and hopefully other chains will follow suit. Click the above link for the full story.
Now if only we can get unrated films back into cinemas again. I have fond memories of seeing vintage flicks like Dawn of the Dead and Zombie on the big screen, and trust me when I say today’s generation has no idea what they’re missing. That is unless you’re in L.A. and have the New Berverly at your disposal! Ah, the goodness!
Cover your junk with a red band in our Dread Central forums!
