Roth’s Greats in Hollywood
I know during your multiple re-watchings of Hostel and Cabin Fever, you’ve probably asked yourself over and over “Self, what inspires Eli Roth?” Head out to the New Beverly Cinema in LA starting this Sunday and you can find out!
Much like the “Wright Stuff” film program we told you about back here, Eli Roth has programmed his own film festival of sorts for those who want to see classics like Mother’s Day, Zapped! and Torso like they’ve (more than likely) never seen ‘em before: on the big screen!
The schedule of films is eclectic at best, downright schizophrenic at worst, but definitely unique. Check out the full schedule for “The Greats of Roth” (if you don’t get the pun, go read a damn book) on New Beverly’s site. Some very special guests will be announced opening night, so pay attention!
For a look deep inside the brain of Roth, be sure to check out his very detailed explanation about every film on the list on his MySpace page!
Wish people cared about the movies you like in the Dread Central forums!
