Berman, Zev (Borderland)
Imagine it; you’re just a kid, traveling around with your buddies and decide to head down to Mexico for the kind of fun you just can’t have in the States.
Instead of fun, though, you and your buds are stopped by police at the Border, searched, and scared shitless because you’re told they’re looking for some American kids who went missing, suspected victims of a Satanic cult. Yeah, that’d ruin my weekend.
Such was the true story and inspiration for Zev Berman to bring us Borderland, one of this year’s 8 Films to Die For. I got a chance to chat with Zev recently about the movie and his thoughts on the genre in general, and it’s a pretty damn good conversation if you ask me. Check it out with the links below!
