First World War Dead: Rise of the Fallen Images Come Off the Battlefield

Last month we learned that Anchor Bay UK is partnering up with Next Level Films on a zombie flick entitled World War Dead: Rise of the Fallen, and today we’ve been provided with the very first images of the collaborative effort. Check ’em out!

Being produced through Next Level’s genre branch Atomic Level, the film is being directed by Bart Ruspoli and Freddie Hutton-Mills. Ray Panthaki (28 Days Later), Wendy Glenn (You’re Next) and Kacey Barnfield (Resident Evil) star, and production is currently underway.

Anchor Bay UK will retain worldwide sales and distribution rights as part of the deal.

Synopsis
To celebrate the centenary of WW1, a TV Documentary team travels to the Somme to put together a ratings smash about new mysteries relating to the famous battle. However, what they unearth is far from a new story of those that died 100 years ago – but an army of the undead and a brand new war.
