Underrated Horror Game Celebrates Anniversary With New Free-To-Play Release

Two years after its initial release, Techland’s Dying Light 2 celebrates by combining all the updates and previously released downloadable content into one nice, concise package: Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition.

In the Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, not only can you enjoy all the past updates that have helped cement the experience as an evolution from the first Dying Light, but it also includes the Bloody Ties DLC.

Bloody Ties sees Aiden, the main character of Dying Light 2, entering Carnage Hall. Carnage Hall is a colosseum in which he must prove himself and rise the ranks in order to take control of the Hall. With it being the first story DLC for the game, it’s an excellent addition to this new package.

The most significant addition to the Reloaded Edition includes the Firearms Update. Guns have been a long sought-after thing in the Dying Light 2 community, and this update really brings the firepower. It includes several weapon types, like your regular pistols, rifles, and shotguns. What’s interesting is it also includes some more nocturnal weapons to stave off the horror that comes out at night.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition also brings with it some visual enhancements, new enemy varieties, and an increase in legend levels, along with some general bug fixes that help improve the game’s overall experience. Between February 22, 2024, and February 26, 2024, Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition will be free to play on Steam and 50% off all weekend long.

Anyone who owns the Dying Light 2 standard edition will receive the Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition for free! With that, Techland is also hosting an anniversary event in-game between February 22, 2024, to March 7, 2024. During this time, you can complete special bounties and receive exclusive rewards. So make sure to head over to the Pilgrim Outpost to check it out!
