Remnant: From The Ashes Coming To Literal Store Shelves March 17th
Are you the kind of person that needs a physical copy of everything? Do you have decades worth of boxes neatly stacked on your shelves? Will your future progeny walk into your library, crack open a faded tome, and find a glittering disk inside? Well, I’m not. I’m all digital, dude. I left behind the shackles of meatspace long ago. I live that renegade life, unbound to any one place. I’m too radicle to fit in a box, man.
If you’re not desperately clinging to your fading youth like me and prefer your purchases to have resale value, then good news! Gunfire Games’ recent “Dark Souls with Guns but not really Dark Souls cause it’s its own thing okay Souls-like might be easier just go with that” game Remnant: From the Ashes will soon be available in a publicly displayable format. Previously, you’d have to print out a picture of your character and staple it to your face to prove your ownership. Now, you can just point to the box and be like, “proof.”
If you haven’t checked Remnant: From The Ashes out yet, you can read my review here before buying. Nutshell take: it’s good. It’s great if you love Souls-likes. So if you want a boxed copy, you can get it worldwide (except Asia) on March 17th. It’s available on Ps4, PC, and Xbox One for $39.99. If you want to try it out now digitally, click here to see the Steam store page.
