The #1 Thriller On Hulu For The Month Is “A must watch”

We should not be surprised by the #1 thriller on Hulu last April. After all, it lived on the charts the whole month and kept Twitter buzzing. According to Flixpatrol, April’s Hulu genre champ was Boston Strangler.

Synopsis

Loretta McLaughlin was the reporter who first connected the murders and broke the story of the Boston Strangler. She and Jean Cole challenged the sexism of the early 1960s to report on the city’s most notorious serial killer.

Boston Strangler was written and directed by Matt Ruskin. It stars Keira Knightley, Carrie Coon, Chris Cooper, David Dastmalchian, and Alessandro Nivola.

The movie hit Hulu in March and has lived on the charts ever since. If it sounds familiar, it might be because it’s inspired by true events. However, this adaptation of the story sheds light on the women who cracked the case.

While Twitter has much to say about the movie, most viewers cannot get over Keira Knightley’s pitch-perfect American accent. People are heaping compliments on the cast, but Knightley’s dialect work seems to be breaking everyone’s brain.
