Fans Call The Number One Horror Movie On Netflix For Three Weeks Running “Extraordinary”

Few things are certain on the Netflix charts. However, this movie being the reigning number-one horror film is starting to seem like a given at this point. For the third week in a row, The Pale Blue Eye is the horror Cinderella story on the  Global Top 10. Because it’s still got such a firm hold on the number two spot in Films (English), it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon.

In the film, a world-weary detective is hired to discreetly investigate the gruesome murder of a cadet. Stymied by the cadets’ code of silence, he enlists one of their own to help unravel the case — a young man the world would come to know as Edgar Allan Poe.

The Pale Blue Eye is based on the novel by Louis Bayard. The film is written and directed by Scott Cooper. The film also boasts a phenomenal cast that includes Christian Bale, Harry Melling, and Gillian Anderson.

Viewers are still smitten with the performances and cinematography. Many Twitter users are also raving about Harry Melling (most well-known for playing Dudley Dursley).

We love to see a horror represented in the charts and love that this movie has given other films a run for their money all month long. Can’t wait to see what the charts have in store for our reigning champ next week.
