Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. OPEN ONLY TO PEOPLE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE UNITED STATES WHO ARE 18 YEARS OR OLDER.

1. Sponsor

Sweepstakes are sponsored by Be Afraid Media, Inc. d/b/a DreadCentral, 2118 Wilshire Blvd #275, Santa Monica, CA 90403, United States (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes are open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members and persons living in the same household are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. Residents of Quebec, Canada, and all other persons located outside the United States, are not eligible to enter.

3. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes will begin and end on the dates posted.

4. How to Enter

During the Sweepstakes Period, participants must follow the instructions posted on DreadCentral.com. Limit one (1) entry per person unless otherwise stated. Use of automated systems, bots, scripts, or multiple identities to circumvent entry limits is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Incomplete, fraudulent, or late entries may be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received due to technical failures, network outages, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, and reserves the right to extend the Sweepstakes Period if such issues materially affect entrants’ ability to participate.

5. Prizes

Prizes will be awarded as specified.
Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all prizes combined will be posted. If the combined ARV of all prizes offered in a given Sweepstakes exceeds the applicable state registration or bonding threshold (including, without limitation, in New York and Florida), Sponsor will register the Sweepstakes and post any required bond in those states prior to launch.

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash substitution will be permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor within seven (7) days following the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified via email and must respond within seventy-two (72) hours. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name and city/state for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.dreadcentral.com/privacy-policy/. Information is collected by Sponsor and/or its promotion administrator, Gleam.

8. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Gleam, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or other causes impair the integrity of the promotion.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved individually in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Entrants waive the right to participate in a class action proceeding.

10. Winner List

To request a copy of the winners list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope within four (4) weeks of the end of the Sweepstakes Period to:
