The Number One Movie On Netflix Fans Are Calling “Visually stunning”

The brand-new sci-fi thriller that debuted last week is already rocking the Netflix charts. JUNG_E is a gripping sci-fi thriller hailing from the mind of Yeon Sang-ho, who also gifted us Train To Busan. The new film is currently sitting at the #1 spot on Netflix’s Top 10 Global Non-English Films Chart.

In the Netflix film, humans have escaped Earth, which has been devastated by drastic climate change. And to end the war taking place at the shelters, the brain of the legendary mercenary Yun Jung-yi is cloned by those trying to develop the ultimate A.I. combat warrior.

Jung_E was written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho. It stars Kim Hyun-joo, Ryu Kyung-soo, Lee Dong-Hee, Lee Ga-Kyung, and Han Woo-yeol. It also features a performance by the late Kang Soo Yeon that has Twitter shaken.

Most viewers have taken to Twitter to compliment the beautifully touching post-apocalyptic sci-fi for its portrayal of the mother-daughter relationship. They’re also singing the praises for this posthumous performance by Kang Soo Yeon.

Just finished watching #JUNG_E and woah, I didn't expect the plot at all. I just randomly open Netflix then it suddenly pops up in the header. It was not the usual sci fi we know. It also highlights the mother daughter relationship. Good drama overall.

We are not surprised that the man that gave us a pulse-pounding drama about zombies on a train is playing with our emotions again. However, we love to see an international film drop and immediately get recognition. Especially one with so many people we stan involved.
