NSFW ‘Candy Land’ Trailer Is A Hellish Road Trip Into Sex and Violence [Exclusive]

Candy Land

From writer/director John Swab and Roxwell Films comes a gnarly new tale about sex, religion, and violence: Candy Land.

The film follows a young disciple of a religious cult, Remy, who stumbles upon a rag-tag group of truck stop sex workers known as “lot lizards” who take her under their wing. As Remy immerses herself in this new underground world, her true colors are revealed in a way that neither her former family nor new family could have ever imagined.

Dread Central got an exclusive look at the trailer. This one is very NSFW, so please proceed with caution (definitely don’t watch in a public place).

Producer Jeremy Rosen said of Candy Land:

“Entrenched in gore, sex, religious fanaticism and attitude, Candy Land delves into the mysterious underworld of truck stop sex workers a.k.a. lot lizards during Christmas 1996.  John and I are fired up to see what audiences make of this throwback slasher fare, kicking off in August with Locarno and FrightFest.”

Olivia Luccardi, Eden Brolin, Sam Quartin, Owen Campbell, and Billy Baldwin star in the film.

Candy Land hits the festival circuit this August. Keep an eye on Dread Central for more information about the film’s release as we have it!
