‘Terrifier 2’: Nasty New Poster Art References This Cinema Classic

Terrifier

Art the Clown is back, and this time he’s bringing a friend. Terrifier 2 filmmaker Damien Leone recently took to Instagram to share the official poster art for the upcoming sequel. And boy oh boy is it something to behold.

The follow-up to the 2016 splatter-house classic is getting closer to release than ever before. Now the series director Damien Leone shared the following update about the latest Art the Clown spook show.

The director shared the following status:

We never thought we’d see the day when Excalibur and Terrifier would cross paths, but alas here we are. And we are not complaining. Terrifier 2 is expected to see release sometime next year, and we cannot wait to see what sort of gruesome carnage Art the Clown is up to these days.

Subsequently, the original Terrifier was co-produced, and directed by Damien Leone in 2016. The Dread Presents classic stars Jenna Kanell, Samantha Scaffidi, David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown. Over the course of one terrifying Halloween night, Art hunts down and murders a series of unfortunate souls in ways that seriously have to be seen to be believed.

Terrifier had its origins in the 2013 anthology film All Hallow’s Eve, which itself was formed using footage from Leone’s previous shorts. Terrifier would have its world premiere at the Telluride Horror Show Film Festival before being acquired by Dread Presents and Epic Pictures for a 2018 theatrical release.
