Long live Saw! Spiral: From the Book of Saw is hitting digital storefront on July 13th. For you collectors and shelf-admirers, the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K versions will drop on July 20th. Also, for all you renters out there, Spiral will be on-demand on July 20th as well. The return to action for the Saw franchise, Spiral landed in theaters after a 4 year Saw hiatus. Can you believe that we went 7 years between Saw 3D and Jigsaw?

Synopsis:
A criminal mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in Spiral, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of his father, an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
Spiral was a well-received reinvention of the franchise. It seems pretty well-liked among Saw fans. Our own Josh Millican had this to say: “Gritty, fresh, and ferocious, director Darren Lynn Bousman and star Chris Rock make Spiral something special. I’d love to see more with Bousman at the helm and Rock front and center. Spiral marks both the return of a classic horror franchise and the beginning of something new.”
