Horror History: Daniel Stamm’s 13 SINS Is Now 7 Years Old

An average Joe named Elliot gets a call out of the blue offering him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: Complete 13 tasks for a big cash reward. The first is simple: Swat a fly. But as the evening continues, Elliot soon realizes he’s gotten in way over his head. As the cash prizes per task increase, so do the risks. Soon Elliot is caught up in a violent nightmare that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear. Worst of all, he can’t simply quit–he’s got to see this thing through to the bitter end. This is the premise of 13 Sins, released in the US on this day back in 2014.

13 Sins is directed by Daniel Stamm (The Last Exorcism); the film stars Mark Webber, Ron Perlman (Hellboy), and Rutina Wesley (True Blood). 13 Sins is a remake of the 2006 Thai horror-comedy 13 Beloved.
