Stephen King Praises ONE CUT OF THE DEAD

Looks like Stephen King finally got around to seeing One Cut of the Dead courtesy of a recommendation from fellow horror author Paul Tremblay (A Head Full of Ghosts, The Cabin at the End of the World).

King took to Twitter, writing: “Paul Tremblay turned me on to ONE CUT OF THE DEAD (Shudder). If you think you’ve seen every variation of zombies-on-a-rampage…you haven’t. Original and big fun. Thanks, Paul!

Better yet, director Shinichiro Ueda wrote back:

Directed Shinichiro Ueda, the film sports a 100% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Brainy and bloody in equal measure, One Cut of the Dead reanimates the moribund zombie genre with a refreshing blend of formal daring and clever satire.
