The Rise & Potential Fall of Cosmic Horror and H.P. Lovecraft Cinematic Universe

The works of H.P. Lovecraft are enjoying something of a resurgence in popularity following the successes of several recent films adapted from or inspired by the author’s works. Examples include Mandy, Underwater, and Color Out of Space. But are plans for an entire H.P. Lovecraft cinematic universe doomed before they even begin? Mr. H thinks–maybe.
