Sarah Paulson Back In AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 10

Last week we let you know that FX has renewed Ryan Murphy’s hit horror anthology American Horror Story for three -count ’em out – THREE new seasons. And today we learned that Sarah Paulson is coming back for season 10 – and beyond.

She tells Deadline: “I did ask Ryan if the question was asked to me, could I say that I was coming back, and he said ‘yes’ you could say. So, yes I will be back on American Horror Story.”

Paulson didn’t have details on season 10’s theme, or who she would play, she “hopes” to be a series regular and “God willing” will return beyond season 10 as well. No word on whether or not Evan Peterson will return. But we’ll keep you up to date as we hear more.

Chairman of FX Networks and FX Productions, John Landgraf said about the recent renewal: “Ryan and Brad are the undisputed masters of horror TV, having created the anthological limited series with American Horror Story and sustaining its success for nearly a decade as FX’s highest-rated series. We are grateful to them and Dana Walden and our studio partners for committing to another three years. AHS has showcased a wealth of award-winning actors since day one and we appreciate the contributions of everyone, including Ryan, Brad and fellow executive producers Tim Minear, James Wong, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Bradley Buecker, the writers, directors, cast, and crew for each new, unforgettable installment of American Horror Story.”
