ALIENS, CLOWNS & GEEKS to Premiere at Morbido Film Fest

A sci-fi comedy by Richard Elfman will premiere at the Morbido Film Fest in Mexico City, October 30th to November 3rd. The film is about an out-of-work actor who stumbles upon the key to the universe, is pulled into an intergalactic conflict between clowns and aliens. Aliens, Clowns & Geeks features an original score by Danny Elfman and Ego Plum Guerrero and includes music by Oingo BoingoLa Sonora Dinamita and Richard’s Hollywood-based band, Mambo Demonico

Morbido Film Fest is Latin America’s premier genre film festival and includes immersive events that intertwine with Mexico’s Dia de los Muertos celebration. Richard Elfman is known for live theatrical pre-shows to his film Forbidden Zone. His wife, Anastasia Elfman, also featured in the film, will perform horror/burlesque at Morbido’s tribute to the 25th anniversary of Alejandro Jodorowski’s horror classic, Santa Sangre.

Aliens, Clowns & Geeks stars Bodhi Elfman (Criminal Minds), Rebecca Forsythe (Replace), Angeline-Rose Troy (Take It From the Top), French Stewart (Third Rock From the Sun), Steve Agee (Sarah Silverman Show), Nic Novicki (Boardwalk Empire), George Wendt (Cheers) and Verne Troyer (Austin Powers) in his final film role.
