Sam Raimi Confirms There’s a 5th EVIL DEAD Movie in the Works

For horror fans, the most exciting news to come out of New York Comic-Con (which wrapped this weekend) is that there’s a new Evil Dead movie in the works. Details are slim, but franchise architect Sam Raimi confirmed the long-running rumors during a panel.
“There’s more Evil Dead coming.”
While franchise staple Bruce Campbell, who plays iconic hero Ash, has retired from the role, the actor will participate as a producer. Fans are still left to wonder if the new film will bring Campbell out of retirement, if it will be a continuation of the Starz series Ash vs Evil Dead, or even a sequel to Fede Alvarez’s 2013 Evil Dead remake. Time will tell.
