Next up in our recap of news out of San Diego Comic-Con: A new poster for Zombieland: Double Tap!
The horror/comedy zom-rom (zombie romance) Zombieland was released on October 2nd, 2009. The sequel, Zombieland: Double Tap was slated to hit US theaters on October 11th, 2019, timed to nearly coincide with the original’s 10th anniversary.
Synopsis:
Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors, and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family.
Zombieland: Double Tap reunites original cast members Woody Harrelson, Abigail Breslin, Emma Stone, and Jesse Eisenberg. The film also reunites original Zombieland director and scribe, Ruben Fleischer and Rhett Reese respectively. Look for the film to shamble into US theaters on October 18th.
We didn’t get a trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap this weekend, but we’ll bring it to you the moment it drops. Stay tuned and check back often!
