While some horror fans are looking forward to Todd Phillips’ Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix and slated to hit theaters on October 4th, here’s some Joker news we can all get excited about. DC Comics announced today that Master of Horror John Carpenter (Halloween, They Live) is co-authoring an upcoming Joker comic book with Anthony Burch (Borderlands 2).
Look for The Joker: Year of the Villain # 1 October 9th!
Synopsis:
This puts The Joker on a mission to get his swagger back in a world gone bad by out-badding everyone else, proving that the greatest evil is always the one that leaves them laughing.
