Trailer: Is Hulu’s Next INTO THE DARK Horror Movie, THEY COME KNOCKING, About Black-Eyed Children?

Hulu’s next monthly, holiday-themed horror movie in the Into the Dark franchise is They Come Knocking. Look for the terrifying Fathers’ Day tale to hit the streaming powerhouse on June 7th. Give the trailer a spin at the top of the article.

Synopsis:
After losing his wife to cancer, a father takes his two daughters on a road trip where he finds his family in the crosshairs of terrifying supernatural entities.

They Come Knocking is written by Shane and Carey Van Dyke (Chernobyl Diaries, The Silence) and directed by Adam Mason (Into The Dark: I’m Just F*cking With You); the film stars Clayne Crawford (Lethal Weapon) Josephine Langford (After), Lia Mchugh (The Lodge), and Robyn Lively (Teen Witch).

Fans of creepypastas may detect hints of the Black-Eyed Children mythology. Black-Eyed Children are, well, children with completely black eyes. Legends describe angelic voices knocking on doors in the middle of the night, requesting entry. Of course, those who do allow Black-Eyed Children access to their homes almost always regret it!
