So now that Game of Thrones is over, you were thinking about canceling your HBO NOW subscription, weren’t you? Well, hold off on hitting that ‘Cancel’ button for just a little bit longer because the streaming service is bringing the spookiest of holidays a little early this year with tomorrow’s release of Halloween!
The latest entry in the long-running franchise, Halloween was directed by David Gordon Green, who co-wrote the film with Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. It starred Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andy Matichak, and both Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney as The Shape, Michael Myers.
The film took nearly $160 million domestically and broke $250 million globally, making it not only the most successful entry in the series but also the number one slasher of all time, not adjusting for inflation, all based on a budget of $10 million.
