Exclusive Clip from THE SKIN OF THE TEETH Demands Answers
The award-winning psychological LGBTQ thriller The Skin of the Teeth will play New York City’s Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street, off University Place) May 10-16 and Dread Central just landed an exclusive clip. Written and directed by Matthew Wollin, The Skin of the Teeth has been described as “Get Out meets Grindr.”
In the story, Josef (Pascal Arquimedes) takes a pill with unexpected effects, as he is plunged into a surreal experience and forced to question just who, and what, he is. The Skin of the Teeth held its world premiere at the Twin Cities Film Festival and also played Outfest and Newfest.
In a statement, Mollin said, “I like to think of The Skin of the Teeth as a fever dream. A drunken, dangerous night that careens from place to place before depositing you safely back in your bed. An impossible string of images that is nevertheless real.”
The Skin of the Teeth hits DVD and VOD on May 14th. You can learn more about the movie HERE.
