This Summer You Can Watch JAWS on the Water for the 5th Year in a Row

Jaws has terrorized generations of beachgoers who will never feel confortable wading into ocean water past our ankels again. The idea of watching Jaws while floating in an innertube over cloudy waters sounds like tourture. But that’s what horror fans in Texas will be able to do this summer when the Alamo Drafthouse and Volente Beach Resort on Travis Lake present Jaws on the Water for the 5th year straight!

Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but the Resort’s official website announced that the event will take place every Saturday (except for July 6th) beginning June 8th and running through August 17th.

“Tickets to these On the Water shows include full access to Volente Beach attractions (Lazy Lagoon, The Sidewinder, the water slides and more), keepsake shark-ified inner tube, fireworks display and the thrilling, one-of-a-kind experience of watching cinema’s greatest great whites with your feet dangling dangerously and deliciously in the water.”
