Animated Video Shows the Evolution of THE PREDATOR

Yautja, or Predators as they are better known, have evolved substantially between 1987 when the franchise launched and the most recent installment, Shane Black’s The Predator, which invaded theaters earlier this year. You can see the intergalactic hunters’ various incarnations in the video above for Tell It Animated, the same YouTubers who previously delivered video evolutions of Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, and Michael Myers.

The video goes through each film, including the Alien vs Predator movies. It’s a concise and fun way to see how Predators have changed over the decades.

If you missed The Predator when it was in theaters, you’ll be able to pick up a Blu-ray/DVD tomorrow. There’s also going to be a Predator stop-motion Christmas Special airing on Comedy Central Wednesday night (details in the link below).

Synopsis:
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. The universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and an evolutionary biologist can prevent the end of the human race.
