Audio from Bear McCreary’s Theme for GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS Leaks Out of Tokyo Comic-Con

Tokyo Comic-Con wrapped this weekend, and Godzilla appears to be the event’s reigning King! We’ve seen teasers and new concept art from Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, not to mention a line of toys that gave us our best look yet at the “titans” King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra. As if all this wasn’t enough, Twitter user ARTHUR MORGAN STAN ACCOUNT (@_Rene_V) recorded and shared over 2 minutes’ worth of Bear McCreary’s epic theme for the new film.

Synopsis:
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Dougherty directed Godzilla: King of the Monsters from a screenplay penned by Zach Shields; the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, and Sally Hawkins. Look for the film to stomp into US theaters beginning May 31st, 2019.
