New Trailer for Porn-Themed Horror CAM Ahead of Netflix Premiere

Fan of cerebral horror with sexual undertones along the lines of It Follows will definitely want to check out Cam when it hit Netflix on November 16th. Regular readers of Dread Central already know that the film, directed by Daniel Goldhaber from a script by Isa Mazzei (a former camgirl herself), made my list of the Top 10 horror movies screened at Fantastic Fest last September.

Today, producers released a shocking new trailer for Cam, one that puts the film’s techno-terror front and center. Give it a spin at the bottom of the article.

Synopsis:
CAM is a technology-driven psychological thriller set in the world of webcam porn. It follows Alice, an ambitious camgirl, who wakes up one day to discover she’s been replaced on her show with an exact replica of herself. As this copy begins to push the boundaries of Alice’s internet identity, the control that Alice has over her life, and the men in it, vanishes. While she struggles to regain what she’s lost, she slowly finds herself drawn back to her show and to the mysterious person who has taken her place.

Cam stars Madeline Brewer, Patch Darragh, and Melora Walters; the film was co-financed by Blumhouse Productions and Gunpowder & Sky and produced by Divide/Conquer.
