Exclusive: DEATH HOUSE Director’s Next Film “Will Do for Sex What JAWS Did for Water”

Horror fans know Harrison Smith best for directing and co-writing Death House, a film dubbed “The Expendables of horror.” After a successful festival and theatrical run, that film will be arriving on Blu-ray/DVD and VOD this December.

Today, we’re getting the exclusive scoop on Smith’s next feature film; he’s attached to “a bizarre horror addiction story” called The Special. The announcement came with some evocative teaser art (it might be more accurate to call it “dick teaser” art). Of the project, Smith says:

“This will do for sex what Jaws did for the water.”

Roy Knyrim’s SOTA FX will headline with Monster Mark Kosobucki on special makeup effects. “Everything you see will be practical effects. No CGI and it’s gonna blow some minds,” Smith tells us. We don’t have a trailer, synopsis, or target release date yet, but we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground in order to bring you additional details on The Special as news emerges. Stay tuned!
