While almost exclusively known for his comedic roles, Seann William Scott has dabbled in horror before, most notably in Final Destination. However, even then he was more of a joker, his character meant to elicit laughs instead of terror. That is hopefully about to change as he fronts the upcoming Divide/Conquer and Blumhouse production Bloodline.
In the film, Scott plays Evan, a psychopath who tortures and kills anyone who doesn’t share his very specific view of family values. Said to be extremely violent with glorious production, it’s a film we’re incredibly excited to see! To temper our thrills just a little bit, we’re here to offer you the first look at the film’s poster, which you can see to the right.
“Evan values family above all else, and anyone who gets between him, his wife, and newborn son learns that the hard way. But when it comes to violent tendencies, it seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
Directed by Henry Jacobson, Bloodline will make its world premiere at Austin’s Fantastic Fest on Saturday, September 22.
